Micronutrient fertilizer ORAKUL® colofermine of boron

ORAKUL® colofermine of boron is a concentrated boron micronutrient fertilizer in organic (easily digestible by plants) form for foliar feeding of field, vegetable and perennial crops.
 
The formulation eliminates effectively boron deficiency in plants. It does not contain any ballast additives, so it does not cause leaf burn, is completely absorbed through the leaf surface of plants.
 
Boron plays an important role in cell division and protein synthesis and is a necessary component of plasma membrane. Boron executes an extremely important function in carbohydrate metabolism. Boron scarcity results in disruption of outflow of plastic substances, foremost sugar from leaves.
Boron is involved in pollen germination and growth of the ovary, so when there is a deficiency in it, seed production of plants sharply reduces. A number of boron organic compounds are growth activators. Dicotyledonous plants contain more boron than monocotyledons. In cells it is concentrated in the ribosomes and membranes of the endoplasmic reticulum.
 
Crops, which require boron the most are sugar beets, potatoes, sunflowers, flax, legumes, vegetables, alfalfa and spiked cereals.
Sod-podzol, gray and brown forest soils are poor in boron. Reduction of boron digestion also occurs in acidic soils due to binding with minerals, for example calcareous soils. Boron deficiency is enhanced with the application of nitrogen fertilizers in excessive amounts when there is moisture deficit.
 
A typical display of distortion due to the lack of boron is dieback of apical points, which is associated with the accumulation of phenols in the oxide form, as well as the accumulation of auxins. Before the dieback of apical points, there is a browning of upper leaves and the apical dome. This process progresses more rapidly at elevated temperatures. The root system is poorly developed, as boron plays a significant role in its development. There is a cessation of root and stem growth, then there is a chlorosis of the top of apical point, and later if there is a strong boric deficiency it dies back completely. Side shoots are developing from the axils of the leaves, the plants are tillering actively, but soon newly formed shoots are stunted as well and all the symptoms of the main stem repeat. Lack of boron particularly affects reproductive organs of plants, when the diseased plants do not form any flowers or there are very few of them, barren flowers appear and the fruit drop takes place.
 
ORAKUL® colofermine of boron. should be applied to eliminate the symptoms of boron deficiency and in order to prevent diseases. In this case, pollen germinates better; shedding of fruit stops and development of the reproductive organs is enhanced. When applying ORAKUL® colofermine of boron preventively, sugar content in sugar beet and fruit as well as starch content in potatoes increase.

Most membranes have the following chemical composition. The inner membranes of mitochondria with biosynthetic function contain phospholipids and colamine is their integral part. Colamine possesses high physiological and biochemical activity. It takes part in redox processes. It increases the activity of enzymes, activates protein and phosphorus metabolism. That is why colamine is used as a chelating agent in ORAKUL® colofermine of boron. This chelating agent maximizes the absorption of boron. Colamine causes intense absorption of moisture from the soil. With this ORAKUL® colofermine of boron increases drought resistance of plants.
Microfertilizer is in the liquid state and is ready for immediate use. While observing the storage conditions it does not crystallize and can be applied in a wide range of temperatures, starting from +5 ° C.

ORAKUL® colofermine of boron can be used in any water. In hard water, the active substance does not interact with hardness salts (calcium and magnesium), so there is no danger of the calcium sulphate (gypsum) formation, which can lead to breakdown of spraying machinery.
 
ORAKUL® colofermine of boron has a significant physiological effect on plants, namely:
  • enhances root development;
  • provokes an intensive water absorption by plant from the soil;
  • increases drought resistance of plants by 20%;
  • enhances development of the reproductive organs;
  • stimulates pollen germination, improves pollination of flowers;
  • decreases fruit drop, increases fruit formation;
  • provokes sugar accumulation in the tissues of winter crops and fruits of sugar beet, fruit, increases starch content in potatoes.
It is recommended for use in conjunction with VIMPEL® plant growth stimulator .
