Activator for early sowing of corn seeds VIMPEL maxi NK (NIVA)

VIMPEL^® MAXI NK – formulation for seed treatment of corn seeds.

APPLICATION OF VIMPEL^® MAXI NK FORMULATION: preserves corn seeds in cold soil, making it possible to start the sowing campaign 3-4 weeks before the optimal sowing date.

FUNCTIONS

The amount of active substances is strictly verified, and at the recommended application rate of the formulation – 5 l/t – a reliable, water-permeable film forms on the surface of the seeds, which performs the following functions:

• exhibits hydrophilic properties, i.e. the active substances actively attract soil moisture, which guarantees stable seed swelling and increases the level of field germination regardless of soil moisture situation;
• due to the formation of a film, the pesticides are evenly distributed over the surface of the seed and are reliably fixed on it;
• due to its properties, the film not only performs a transport function for other active substances of the product, but also allows for more active absorption of nutrients from the soil into the seed and their further movement into the plant cell through the membrane;
• these effects are most relevant during the period when the seeds are in cold soil, which allows the seeds to maintain their germination under the conditions of early sowing.

Penetrating into the cell, the active substances included in the product modify the structure of the cell membrane, increasing the enzymatic activity of the cells. This allows even in cold soil conditions to start the development of the embryonic roots and activate the growth processes of the root system.

Owing to the application of the VIMPEL^® MAXI NK formulation, the rate of root system development is 12-45% faster compared to untreated seeds.

Studies have shown that as a result of long-term storage (18 months), seeds treated with the formulation VIMPEL^® MAXI NK retain germination energy and germination at the same level as the control variant. The polymers in the formulation ensure reliable retention of pesticides on the surface of the seeds.
