DEXTURATOR® is a new generation complex formulation based on humic substances specially developed for intensive decomposition of stubble and other crop residues. The formulation provides optimal conditions for activating microbiological processes in the soil, accelerates the mineralization of organic matter and the return of nutrients to forms available for the next crop. Restoration of soil fertility with humates is based on their ability to improve the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil environment.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

The basis of the formulation action is humic acids, which are natural biostimulants and catalysts of biochemical processes in the soil. Due to their low molecular weight structure, the acids easily penetrate the cell walls of plant residues, making them more accessible for enzymatic decomposition. Humic acids form stable organo-mineral complexes, which contributes to the formation of humus and improvement of the structural state of the soil.

The formulation increases the overall biological activity of the soil, as well as the content of useful microbial biomass and its enzymatic activity, which directly affects the restoration of humus balance.

DEXTURATOR® PROVIDES:

  • stubble decomposition due to an increase in the number of cellulose-destructive microorganisms that actively destroy fiber and other complex organic compounds of crop residues;
  • conversion of organic nitrogen due to ammonifying bacteria that convert stubble nitrogen into an ammonium form available to plants;
  • stable operation, even in the event of a lack of nitrogen. Oligonitrophilic microorganisms, the number of which has increased due to the action of the formulation, ensure a continuous process of destruction, even when there is little mineral nitrogen in the soil;
  • reduction in the number of pathogens. The above-mentioned beneficial microorganisms displace the development zones of fungal and bacterial diseases due to competition for substrates. As a result, not only the destruction of stubble occurs, but also the improvement of the upper soil level.

AGRONOMIC AND SOIL PROTECTION ADVANTAGES

The application of DEXTURATOR® significantly accelerates the destruction of crop residues, depending on moisture and temperature conditions. This allows you to prepare the soil for the next season faster, avoid the accumulation of undecomposed mass, improve the quality of pre-sowing cultivation and uniformity of sowing.

The mineralization of one ton of stubble returns up to 25 kg of nitrogen, 12 kg of phosphorus and 45 kg of potassium to the soil. The inclusion of these elements in crop nutrition is accelerated, and nitrogen losses due to denitrification and leaching are reduced by 20-30%.

ADVANTAGES OVER OTHER DESTRUCTORS

During the year, the number of ammonifying microorganisms increases by 40% comparing to the standard and by 180% compared to areas treated with a biodestructor (microorganisms) with urea. The number of oligonitrophilic microorganisms — by 46% and 165%, respectively. The content of nitrate nitrogen increases 4 times. The content of mobile phosphates in the soil increases by 20%. The amount of exchangeable potassium in the soil increases by 50%.

In arid conditions, the effectiveness of purely bacterial formulations is noticeably reduced. Insufficient humidity inhibits the development of beneficial microbiota that is part of them. An additional factor is the application of mineral fertilizers, in particular nitrogen ones. The salts that are part of them create a high osmotic load in the area of contact with stubble and microorganisms. This draws moisture from the bacterial cells and dries the stubble surface even more. As a result, the activity of microorganisms involved in the destruction is significantly reduced.

In comparison, the application of DEXTURATOR® does not require additional, simultaneous nitrogen application, preventing the appearance of relevant problems.

The effectiveness of humates in the soil depends on the pH level. In a neutral environment, they dissolve well and work actively. However, if the pH is below 5.5 or above 7.0, their activity may decrease.

DOLINA specialists have developed modified humates which work well in both acidic and alkaline conditions. These are the humates used in the stubble destructor DEXTURATOR®, ensuring high efficiency in any soil.

APPLICATION RATES

APPLICATION CONDITIONS AND TERMSRATE
The formulation is applied to the stubble immediately after harvesting during disking or other shallow cultivation. The application rate is determined depending on the amount of crop residues and the general condition of the soil.2.4 L/ha
