Horticulture in Ukraine has significant development prospects, given the growing demand for fruit and berry products on the world market, which makes the industry economically promising. The main consumers of Ukrainian products are Poland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Turkey, the Czech Republic, and Greece.
In the domestic market of Ukraine, the main consumers of fruit and berry products are large retail chains, with small retail chains and small shops comprising a part of the sales. A significant segment of the market is occupied by the plants specializing in the processing of fruit and berry raw materials and the production of juice concentrates, juice-containing nectars, cold teas and soft drinks. The online sales sector is beginning to develop. Therefore, meeting the needs of both the domestic and foreign markets with high-quality fruit and berry products requires the use of effective growth stimulants that will improve their physical, organoleptic and biochemical indicators. ACTION MECHANISM ON THE CELLULAR LEVEL
As a result of the FRUITLIPS® application, its significant regenerative and anti-stress effect was revealed, which has a complex effect on both each cell separately and on the plant organism as a whole. The three-component composition of the active substance of the formulation has a powerful effect on plant systems due to the effective interaction within, during which each of the elements enhances the effect of the other.
When using the FRUITLIPS® growth stimulant, there is an increase in the synthesis of phytohormones, which are responsible for the main biochemical processes in the plant body. Phytohormones have indispensable functions: they are involved in the regulation of the motor response of the plant’s leaves and flowers, flowering, growth and ripening of fruits, fall of leaves, ovaries and fruit, increased respiration, the formation of large parthenocarpic fruits, stimulation of bud formation and shoot growth.
One of the important features of FRUITLIPS® is its effect on photosynthetic productivity and chlorophyll content in leaves. Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants form organic substances from CO2 and H2O using light energy. Photosynthesis occurs in the organs of green plants, primarily in leaves. In eukaryotes, this process takes place in special organelles in leaves – chloroplasts.

The main role in photosynthesis belongs to chlorophyll. The process of photosynthesis is the primary supplier of various plastic substances rich in energy (ATP) and restorative potential. Its intensity and productivity are regulated by a complex of interconnected and interdependent factors.
To study the effect of FRUITLIPS® on the chlorophyll content in apple leaves, after the third treatment of the trees with the formulation, leaf samples were taken on the sixth and ninth days to determine the chlorophyll content.

In addition, FRUITLIPS® affects the biosynthesis of high-molecular compounds (nucleic acids, lipids, polysaccharides, proteins) for their further use as a “building material” and energy production.
FRUITLIPS® reduces the resistance of stomata, which regulate gas and water exchange in the plant, due to their ability to open and close. This directly affects the transpiration processes that control the water balance of the plant.

The formulation also affects the processes of cytoplasmic flow, improves the integrity of membranes and increases the activity of enzymes, which act as catalysts for almost all biochemical reactions in the plant organism. They play an extremely important role in all life processes, directing and regulating all metabolic processes.

FRUITLIPS® promotes the accumulation of mineral elements. The conducted studies and obtained results show that the application of foliar feeding with the FRUITLIPS® plant stimulant the apple plantations of Renet Symyrenko variety during the growing season had a positive effect on the processes of digestion, fixation and distribution of basic nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) by leaves, annual shoots and fruits.

ACTION MECHANISM ON THE PLANT LEVEL
FRUITLIPS® is able to influence the plant both at the vegetative and generative levels. This effect is proven through the improvement of the processes of shoot growth and lateral branching, respectively. In addition, it affects the number of flowers and the average weight of the fruit, which in turn increases the productivity.

The fruit commercial quality analysis conducted in the orchard before harvesting showed that foliar application of FRUITLIPS® growth stimulant contributed to a higher yield of marketable fruits.
The fruit commercial quality is a rather important index, which affects the final sale of the product. A commercial variety embodies the concept of gradation of the quality of products of a certain type according to one or more indicators that have been established by regulatory documentation. These indicators include appearance (color and shape), which can be affected by a number of negative factors, the effect of which can be reduced by using the FRUITLIPS® preparation. In addition to appearance, the presence or absence of a stalk, size, and maturity affect high commercial quality indicators.
The commercial quality of fruits is a rather important factor that affects the final sale of the product. The commercial variety embodies the concept of the quality gradation of products of a certain type according to one or more attributes, established by the regulatory documentation. These attributes include appearance (color and shape), which can be affected by a number of negative factors, the effect of which can be reduced by using the FRUITLIPS® formulation. According to research results, the application of FRUITLIPS® contributed to an increase in the yield of healthy fruits by 15.62% compared to the control indicator, which proves the effectiveness of using the formulation to improve commercial quality.
The success of storage depends mainly on the varietal characteristics, but the conditions of cultivation, harvesting and storage also have an impact. Some varieties require harvesting of fruits before physiological ripeness, otherwise they will simply not be suitable for storage, which is not always possible. Therefore, the application of FRUITLIPS® will allow you to avoid undesirable consequences that arise during storage.
