Growth stimulant for soybeans SOYLIPS
Soybean is one of the most important crops to grow in our country, and productivity of its yield is of great importance to the agricultural sector. To ensure maximum soybean yield, we present you a new plant growth stimulator – SOYLIPS®.
The need in nutrients of soybean is determined by its biological characteristics. At the beginning of the growing season, plants develop slowly. In the period from the appearance of seedlings to flowering, few nutrients are required: 18% nitrogen, 15% phosphorus and 25% potassium. As the flowering phase approaches, the crop’s requirements for nutritional conditions increase. In the period from flowering to mass filling of soybean pod, the greatest need for nutrients is observed: plants absorb 65% of the total crop nutrient removal. That is why the application of the SOYLIPS® product, which contains analogues of the natural growth regulators, at the beginning of flowering activates the processes of consumption and assimilation of nutrients and moisture by the cells of the meristematic tissues, ensuring maximum efficiency of physiological processes and rapid growth of soybeans.
The application of the anti-abortion agent SOYLIPS® causes the increase in the synthesis of phytohormones, which ensure the flow of basic biochemical processes in the plant body. Phytohormones perform important functions, namely: they participate in the regulation of carbohydrate and protein metabolism, flowering, the formation and ripening of beans, and the processes of plant respiration.
Soybean plants are exposed to numerous stresses that significantly affect their productivity. The most common factors that can cause stress in plants include: extreme temperatures (both low and high), lack of moisture (drought), excess water in the soil, excessive soil salinity, low or excessive light, the influence of phytopathogens (bacteria and fungi), ultraviolet radiation, the influence of heavy metal ions. Even the application of chemicals causes stress for plants. Mostly, the reaction of plants to stress factors is the inhibition of development, a change in leaf color, and the fall of flowers and fruits. Due to stress, plants do not receive the necessary nutrition, and therefore do not form the yield which potential was defined by plant breeders. Loss of soybean yield can occur due to non-fertilization of flowers or due to abortion of flowers and beans. Plants produce a large number of flowers and pods, but in dry conditions and high temperatures they leave only as many as they can provide with nutrients. To abort the extra pods or flowers, the plant begins to produce ethylene, a senescence hormone that blocks the vessels that supply the flowers with nutrients.
The active ingredients of the SOYLIPS® stimulant unlock enzymatic processes which have been stopped by stress factors, and enhance the synthesis of substances that counteract the effects of stress.
