APPLICATION ON BERRY CROPS
Treatment of grafts and seedlings with the formulation for planting material treatment VIMPEL®-K (2-3% solution) with stimulant properties and complex micronutrient fertilizer ORAKUL® seeds (5% solution) results in:
- increase in the percentage of successful graftings (gooseberry and currant standard);
- active recovery of the root system after seedling transplanting;
- increase in seedling and graft survival ability.
For a detailed view, click on the photo:
- increases leaf area and number of leaves;
- increases the annual amount of shoot growth;
- enhances the ramification of yearling plants;
- increases the yield of vegetatively propagated rootstocks;
- increases heat resistance, drought resistance, and winter hardiness;
- enhances the efficacy of pesticides by 20-25%;
- stimulates reproductive bud formation.
Please note: VIMPEL 2® plant growth stimulant is approved for use in organic agriculture.
Application of the plant growth stimulant with adjuvant properties VIMPEL 2® on bushes before flowering, after flowering, and in the period of berry growth (application rate 0.5 L/ha):
- accelerates the metabolic processes in tissues, increases absorption by bushes the major nutrients from the soil by 5 – 8%, and micronutrients by 27-57%;
- improves photosynthetic activity at the expense of an increase in chlorophyll content in leaves;
- plants spend moisture economically, the water consumption coefficient decreases;
- enhances drought and heat resistance;
- enhances the efficacy of pesticides by 20-25%;
- promotes recovery of annual growth after freezing or hail;
- increases fruit initiation;
- increases winter hardness of fruit buds;
- improves the marketability and taste of berries;
- increases yield.
Water matters!
Problems arising from certain water characteristics should not be underestimated, as they can directly affect the effectiveness of tank mixtures through sedimentation, hydrolysis of pesticides, runoff of the working solution, or insufficient wetting of the leaf surface during foliar treatments.
Alkaline water. As a rule, if the pH is 7.5 or higher, a number of pesticides have short half-lives (0.5-3 hours); therefore, solution pH is an important factor in ensuring the effectiveness of all components of the tank mixture. The pH stabilizer REFERI® is used to acidify the tank mixture.
Hardness salts. Hard water contains excessive hardness ions (magnesium, calcium, and iron), which affect negatively the components of the tank mixture, leading to sediment formation in the sprayer tank and nozzle clogging. The AUDITOR® water softener will help to neutralize the effect of hardness salts. At the same time, the formulation forms biologically active chelated natural complexes with cations of hardness salts, converting them into a form easily absorbed by plants.
Adjuvants AD’YUTANT®, FORTEL®, and PAKT® solve the problems of runoff or insufficient wetting of the leaf surface with the working solution. In the tank mixture, they act as surfactants, increasing the effectiveness of the components and preventing the formulation from running off, while evenly distributing it on the plant surface.
