APPLICATION ON COTTON
Application of the formulation for seed treatment VIMPEL-K® 0.5-1 kg/t with stimulant properties and complex microfertilizer ORAKUL® seeds 1 – 1.5 L/t results in:
- increase of the germination rate and field germination of seeds by 3 – 5%, which makes it possible to generate a given stand density of plants;
- active development of root system, thus increasing drought resistance by 20 – 25%;
- increase of photosynthetic efficacy.
Application of plant growth stimulant VIMPEL 2® in the phases of bud formation and beginning of flowering (application rate 0.7 L/ha):
- accelerates the metabolic processes in tissues, plants absorb more intensively nutrients from the soil and from microfertilizers when applying foliar feeding, fertilizing effectiveness is increased by 30%;
- protects plants against pesticide stress caused by both soil-applied and postemergent herbicides, plants acquire a distinctive green color and proceed growing as soon as in 2 days after the treatment;
- increases leaf surface area;
- increases chlorophyll content, resulting in an increase of photosynthetic efficiency;
- decreases water-consumption ratio, plants use moisture more sparingly;
- increases drought and heat resistance;
- increases productivity.
Please note: VIMPEL 2® plant growth stimulant is approved for use in organic agriculture.
Adding of the complex universal microfertilizer ORAKUL® multicomplex (application rate 1.0-2.0 L/ha) at this time provides the plant with all the necessary nutrients, regardless of changes in weather conditions or the physiological state of the soil. Besides it results in increase of boll amount and weight of raw cotton in a boll.
The application of the microfertilizer ORAKUL® colofermine of zinc at a rate of 0.5-1.5 L/ha is necessary due to the increased need of cotton for zinc. Zinc improves the synthesis of sugars and starch, the total content of carbohydrates, proteins, ascorbic acid and chlorophyll, as well as increases the drought, heat and cold resistance of plants.
Application of microfertilizers ORAKUL® (S, В, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Mg) is conducted when there is deficiency of the corresponding elements.
According to the data of leading research institutions of Uzbekistan:
- seed treatment: VIMPEL-K® + ORAKUL® seeds and
- treatment in the phase of bud formation: VIMPEL 2® + ORAKUL® multicomplex and
- repetitive treatment in the phase of beginning of flowering with the stimulant VIMPEL 2® and ORAKUL® multicomplex
leads to cotton productivity increase by 550 kg/ha.
Combined application of stimulants and microfertilizers of DOLINA GROUP is an economically justified measure. Those agricultural enterprises, which implemented these formulations into cotton cultivation technology, get economic return of 6-9 times the cost.
Water matters!
Problems arising from certain water characteristics should not be underestimated, as they can directly affect the effectiveness of tank mixtures through sedimentation, hydrolysis of pesticides, runoff of the working solution or insufficient wetting of the leaf surface during foliar treatments of plants.
Alkaline water. As a rule, if the pH is 7.5 or higher, a number of pesticides undergo half-life in a short period of time (0.5-3 hours), therefore the pH value of the solution is an important factor in ensuring the effectiveness of all the components of the tank mixture. The pH stabilizer REFERI® is used to acidify the tank mixture.
Hardness salts. Hard water contains an excess of hardness ions (magnesium, calcium, iron), which has a negative effect on the components of the tank mixture, up to the formation of sediment in the sprayer tank and clogging of nozzles. AUDITOR® water softener will help to neutralize the effect of hardness salts. At the same time, the formulation forms biologically active chelated natural complexes with cations of hardness salts, converting them into a form that is easily absorbed by plants.
Adjuvants AD’YUTANT®, FORTEL®, PAKT® solve the problems of runoff or insufficient wetting of the leaf surface with the working solution. In the tank mixture, they perform the function of a surfactant, which allows to increase the effectiveness of the components of the tank mixture, prevent preparation runoff and evenly distribute them on the surface of plants.
