APPLICATION ON CABBAGE

Treatment of seeds and seedling steeping with the formulation for planting material treatment VIMPEL®-K/K2 (2 – 3% solution) with stimulant properties results in:

  • increase of the germination rate and field germination of seeds up to 8% and seedling growth energy, which makes it possible to generate a required stand density of plants;
  • more active development of the root system;
  • increase of the leaf surface.

Application of the complex micronutrient fertilizer for seed treatment ORAKUL® seeds (5% solution) in the tank mix provides the young seedlings with balanced nutrition comprising all the necessary macro- and micronutrients.
Application of plant growth stimulant VIMPEL® (application rate 0.5 L/ha) in the phases from 4 – 6 true leaves up to the head formation:
  • accelerates the metabolic processes in tissues, plants absorb more intensively nutrients from the soil and from microfertilizers when applying foliar feeding, fertilizing effectiveness is increased by 30%;
  • increases survival rate of transplants;
  • eliminates in the tank mix with herbicides phytotoxic effects of the latter and rapidly relieves plant from stress, which is evident through the intense leaf formation;
  • enhances the efficacy of pesticides by 20-25%;
  • exhibits adhesive properties;
  • plants spend moisture economically, the water consumption coefficient decreases;
  • improves photosynthetic activity of the leaves;
  • increases chlorophyll content in leaves;
  • increases the leaf surface;
  • decreases disease development intensity by 2 – 2.5 times;
  • enhances the development and activity of soil microorganisms by 1.5 – 2 times;
  • enhances heat and drought resistance of plants;
  • increases productivity, marketability, quality and storability of heads.

Adding of the complex universal micronutrient fertilizer ORAKUL® multicomplex (application rate 1.0-2.0 L/ha) at this time provides the plant with all the necessary nutrients, regardless of changes in weather conditions or the physiological state of the soil. Besides due to it:

  • solids content increases;
  • weight of heads increases, thus
  • productivity increases.
Application of micronutrient fertilizer ORAKUL® sulfur active (1.0-3.0 L/ha) is determined by an increased demand of cabbage in sulfur, which is found in mustard oils. When there is sulfur deficiency,  leaves have a pale, yellow color, and the plant resistance to disease decreases.
Application of microfertilizers ORAKUL® (В, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Mo, Mg) is conducted when there a is deficiency of the corresponding elements.
Application of growth stimulants VIMPEL 2® and VIMPEL®-K with micronutrient fertilizers from the ORAKUL® series in cultivation technology of cabbage (seed treatment and seedling steeping, then plant treatment in 7 – 10 days after transplanting and in the phase of head forming) leads to the yield increase from 15.000 to 17.500 kg/ha.

Water matters!

Problems arising from certain water characteristics should not be underestimated, as they can directly affect the effectiveness of tank mixtures through sedimentation, hydrolysis of pesticides, runoff of the working solution or insufficient wetting of the leaf surface during foliar treatments of plants.

Alkaline water. As a rule, if the pH is 7.5 or higher, a number of pesticides undergo half-life in a short period of time (0.5-3 hours), therefore the pH value of the solution is an important factor in ensuring the effectiveness of all the components of the tank mixture. The pH stabilizer REFERI® is used to acidify the tank mixture.

Hardness salts. Hard water contains an excess of hardness ions (magnesium, calcium, iron), which has a negative effect on the components of the tank mixture, up to the formation of sediment in the sprayer tank and clogging of nozzles. AUDITOR® water softener will help to neutralize the effect of hardness salts. At the same time, the formulation forms biologically active chelated natural complexes with cations of hardness salts, converting them into a form that is easily absorbed by plants.

Adjuvants AD’YUTANT®, FORTEL®, PAKT® solve the problems of runoff or insufficient wetting of the leaf surface with the working solution. In the tank mixture, they perform the function of a surfactant, which allows to increase the effectiveness of the components of the tank mixture, prevent preparation runoff and evenly distribute them on the surface of plants.
