APPLICATION ON POTATOES
Treatment of tubers with the formulation for planting material VIMPEL®-K (2-3% solution) with stimulant properties and micronutrient fertilizer ORAKUL® seeds (6% solution) results in:
- more active development of root system;
- acceleration of sprout emergence;
- increase in resistance to diseases;
- increase in planting density by 13%;
- awakening of additional sproutings of tubers, formation of fertile stalks, resulting in increase of stand stem density by 30 – 35%;
- increase of productivity.

Application of plant growth stimulant VIMPEL 2® in the phases from fully sprouted seed potatoes, bud formation and the period after flowering (application rate 0.5 L/ha):
- accelerates the metabolic processes in tissues, plants absorb more intensively nutrients from the soil and from microfertilizers when applying foliar feeding, fertilizing effectiveness is increased by 30%;
- eliminates in tank mix with a herbicide phytotoxic effects of the latter and rapidly relieves plants from stress;
- enhances the efficacy of pesticides by 20-25%;
- increases stand stem density;
- increases plant damage threshold during short-term frosts by 3-5°С;
- decreases by 1.5-2 times disease development intensity;
- increases productivity.

Adding of the complex universal micronutrient fertilizer ORAKUL® multicomplex (application rate 1.0-2.0 L/ha) at this time provides plants with all the necessary nutrients, regardless of changes in weather conditions or the physiological state of the soil.
Application of micronutrient fertilizer ORAKUL® colofermine of boron 1.0-1.5 L/ha is determined by increased demand of potatoes in boron. When there is a lack of it, plant growth and development are inhibited.
Application of micronutrient fetilizers ORAKUL® (S, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Mo, Mg) is conducted when there is deficiency of the corresponding elements.
According to the data of the leading Ukrainian research institutions:
- tuber treatment: VIMPEL®-K + ORAKUL® seeds increases productivity by 3.300 kg/ha;
- if adding VIMPEL® to the previous scheme treatment in the phase of fully sprouted seed potatoes, followed by application in the phase of bud formation and after flowering VIMPEL 2® + ORAKUL® multicomplex + ORAKUL® colofermine of boron extra yield amounts to 9.800 kg/ha.
According to data of the Potato Research Institute, implementation of the complex program, which includes growth stimulant applications and foliar treatments of potatoes can lead to their productivity increase by 15.000 kg/ha (41%). In this case product quality increases, starch content in tubers is increased by 5%, dry matter – by 5-10%.
Water matters!
Problems arising from certain water characteristics should not be underestimated, as they can directly affect the effectiveness of tank mixtures through sedimentation, hydrolysis of pesticides, runoff of the working solution or insufficient wetting of the leaf surface during foliar treatments of plants.
Alkaline water. As a rule, if the pH is 7.5 or higher, a number of pesticides undergo half-life in a short period of time (0.5-3 hours), therefore the pH value of the solution is an important factor in ensuring the effectiveness of all the components of the tank mixture. The pH stabilizer REFERI® is used to acidify the tank mixture.
Hardness salts. Hard water contains an excess of hardness ions (magnesium, calcium, iron), which has a negative effect on the components of the tank mixture, up to the formation of sediment in the sprayer tank and clogging of nozzles. AUDITOR® water softener will help to neutralize the effect of hardness salts. At the same time, the formulation forms biologically active chelated natural complexes with cations of hardness salts, converting them into a form that is easily absorbed by plants.
Adjuvants AD’YUTANT®, FORTEL®, PAKT® solve the problems of runoff or insufficient wetting of the leaf surface with the working solution. In the tank mixture, they perform the function of a surfactant, which allows to increase the effectiveness of the components of the tank mixture, prevent preparation runoff and evenly distribute them on the surface of plants.
